ST. GEORGE, Utah – Recently two women from St.George, Utah rekindled an old friendship that began in a small orphanage in India.

For more than 40 years they have both lived in the United States and never knew what happened to each other. Recently they found one another in a most unusual way.

Diane Call was abandoned at an orphanage in Tamil Nadu when she was a young girl. She and Chitra Graff were friends at that orphanage. They remember spending their days looking for food and watching over one another.
While they were still young, they were adopted into families in the United States and lost track of one another. Years later, when Diane was 8-years-old, her adoptive mom received a picture from a distant friend of a young Indian girl that was adopted to Idaho.

She asked Diane if she recognized the girl in the photo, but she didn’t. Her mom then told her to hold on to the picture, that maybe one day she would get the chance to meet that girl. For more than 35 years Diane kept that picture tucked away in her photo album and never really gave it a second thought.

Recently, she was invited to meet a new friend for lunch. As their friendship grew Diane learned that this new friend was actually the girl in the photo, who also happened to be Chitra from the orphanage.

The photo ended up being a treasure linking these two women together after several decades apart. This is just one of the many incredible circumstances that have brought these women together.

Diane has 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Her family are her greatest blessings.
Diane has seen many miracles from the hand of God in her life. She was able to find her long lost brother adopted to Denmark from India through a DNA test 43 years after they were both adopted. She found an orphan sister who was also adopted the same day as Diane from the same orphanage and went to Boise ID. They now live 10 min apart in Saint George from each other. These are great miracles that she is in awe of still.

Here's my story
ST. GEORGE, Utah –
THE ORIGINAL PIZZA MILL GARLIC SPREAD was invented in 1981 by my mother. It has been an evolving family recipe for 40 years! My mom started a pizza restaurant where she whipped up a recipe in the kitchen for garlic bread to sell with the pizza. The garlic spread became so popular that we started selling tubs of the spread to customers. After my father was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and was unable to work, this business supported our family. We have continued to improve the recipe over the years and know you will fall in love with this heirloom recipe, too.
